PIRSA Rural Solutions SA Capability Profile
A South Australian Government project to develop a capability profile to outline Rural Solutions SA consulting services in agribusiness, environment, resources and energy and community engagement.
Rural Solutions SA are the commercial consulting division of the South Australian Department of Primary Industries. A capability profile publication was needed as a major business development tool and to assist the organisation to secure major domestic and international consulting projects.
The three-month project drew on Ali's many years of publishing experience. It involved working with a number of editorial contributors across the organisation and coordinating, writing, editing, developing layout and design concepts, capturing organisational stories and project experience as well as the value proposition they offered as consultants. The project involved management of and liaison with graphic designers and print contractors, working directly with the Rural Solutions SA leadership team, senior consultants, and with the South Australian Department of Premier and Cabinet on branding and messaging.
The capability profile was very well received by the Rural Solutions SA Board, staff and clients alike. This was a great project and the start of a series of challenging, exciting and highly rewarding projects with the Department of Primary Industries SA. |  |

PIRSA Biosecurity Fruit Fly Management Publication
A South Australian Government project to provide Riverland fruit growers with an integrated guide to fruit fly management. This publication was used by growers in regional areas and by state government staff and ministers to maintain the state’s fruit fly free status.
The project was a commercial consulting project of Rural Solutions SA to another division of the agency, PIRSA Biosecurity. The project involved content development, writing, sourcing images, design direction and management of creative contractors, and liaising with various industry and project stakeholders and with a number of subject matter experts. A memorable project.
